Asparagus Magazine is a publication dedicated to telling the large and small stories of how we can live sustainably, from an environmental, social, and cultural perspective. We aim to approach these stories in a way that is intersectional, impactful, firmly grounded in science, but also fun.
The Asparagus vision: Stories cultivating a just society on a healthy planet.
The Asparagus Stand is our online shop, where you can purchase sustainable swag, become a subscriber, or donate to support our work. Asparagus is run by its founder, Jessie Johnston, out of her home in Vancouver, on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
